A racist thug who abused police officers had to be Tasered to stop him from lashing out and assaulting them.
Louis Ingram, 23, shouted a tirade of racist insults at officers who arrested him in February over another matter.
However, as officers were trying to put him in their police vehicle, Ingram, of Bluebell Close, Gillingham, became aggressive and abusive.
When Ingram was interviewed at the police station he admitted he’d been racist, saying it was because he’d been Tasered and was seething with rage.
He was charged with racially aggravated behaviour and found guilty by magistrates in Medway.
The court was told he was a heavy cannabis user but was getting support to reduce his addiction.
Wayne Crowhurst, defending, said: “He didn’t mean what he was saying.”
Magistrates gave Ingram a 12-month conditional discharge.
