Fire in recycling container in Snodland

A fire in a recycling container sparked an emergency response from three engines.
Crews were called to a blaze in a 20ft recycling container on Mill Street in Snodland yesterday lunchtime.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a high-pressure hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
No casualties were reported.
The cause is believed to be accidental, and the incident was wrapped up by 2pm.
