A charity is marking 40 years with a reggae musical about Windrush.
The show will be hosted by Medway African and Carribean Association (MACA) at The Central Theatre, Chatham for the milestone next year.
The live performance will feature the music of Caribbean musicians Bob Marley, Desmond Dekker, Jimmy Cliff and more.
In a statement, the association said: “We are pleased to host Rush Theatre Company’s amazing production of ‘Rush – A Joyous Jamaican Journey in Kent’,”
“Join us for this incredible narrated musical as we tell the story of the Windrush generation and reggae and hear how this music took the world by storm.”
The show will take place next year on June 21 at 7pm and ticket prices will range from £25 to £30.
There will be singing and dancing and audience members will be encouraged to stand up from their seats.
Tickets are now available to purchase here.
“Get them early, this show has sold out in other venues,” said MACA.
