Thorold Road, Chatham closed after multiple vehicle collision

Two people have been taken to hospital after a multiple car collision.
Allegedly an elderly man was in a parked car on Thorold Road, Chatham when a blue car smashed into his vehicle.
Residents wrapped the pensioner in blankets and water while waiting for ambulance crews to arrive.

One witness who wants to be named as Sahdia A said she didn't believe he sustained any injuries but he was visibly shaken by the incident.
Police spokeswoman Vicki Foster said: "Police were called at 1.16pm on 26 October 2018 to a report of a collision involving four vehicles in Thorold Road, Chatham.
"Officers are at the scene and two people have been taken to a local hospital as a precaution.
"The road was closed while the incident was dealt with and was reopened at 3.40pm."
