Rochester man jailed for driving offences

A man caught behind the wheel in Chatham despite being disqualified from driving has been jailed.
Mareks Ivanovs, of Stour Close, Rochester, was caught in a Jaguar in Dock Road.
The 37-year-old also failed to provide a breath test and was driving without third-party insurance.
Ivanovs pleaded guilty to the charges at Medway Magistrates’ Court and was jailed for 180 days.
He was also disqualified from driving for a further five years over the offences, on September 18.
