Strood: Rush hour crash causes delays on the A2 High Street and A228 Cuxton Road

Part of Strood town centre was blocked this morning due to an accident.
A car and a motorcycle were involved in the smash on the A2 London Road near the A228 Cuxton Road.
There was slow traffic throughout the rush hour after the road was partially closed.
It had reopened and delays had cleared by 10.45am.
At one point, congestion wsa reported to be stretching back to the B2108 Rede Court Road and along the A228 to the M2 at J2.
Police and ambulance crews attended.
A police spokesman said they were called at 8.09am and no serious injuries were reported.
