An untaxed car which sped away from police was later found abandoned by firearms officers.
The vehicle was spotted in Rochester before driving away from a patrol, it was later discovered a short distance away.
It had not been taxed since August last year and police say enquires to establish the identity of the driver are now ongoing.
Meanwhile in Ashford the Kent Police roads unit seized a black Audi which was allegedly being driven by a man who was not on the insurance.
Officers then established the driver was disqualified, and he has now been reported for the suspected offences.
In Gillingham, a van was spotted being driven on false number plates.
Further checks also revealed the driver was disqualified and was not insured.
The van was seized by officers.
