Fire crews attend kitchen blaze in Rochester

Two fire crews were called to a home in Rochester after a fire started in the kitchen.
Firefighters arrived at the house in Quixote Crescent at 5pm today to find smoke billowing from the building.
They wore breathing apparatus as they tackled the flames with hose reel jets.
No casualties were reported.
The fire is understood to have spread accidentally from the hob.
Crews left the scene over an hour later, at 6.30pm.
