Two charged as sniffer dog detects nearly 400 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine at property in Eden Avenue, Chatham

A police sniffer dog has helped to detect nearly 400 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine.
Two people have been charged following searches at a property in Eden Avenue, Chatham.
With the assistance of specialist search dog, PD Hector police recovered around 50 grams of suspected uncut heroin yesterday morning.
Joel Loba, 24, of Eden Avenue was arrested on the same day, and charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, two counts of possessing drugs with intent to supply and with possessing criminal property in the form of seized cash.
Chahnah Bagnall, 26, of Eden Avenue was also detained and charged with possessing heroin with the intent to supply, being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and with possessing criminal property, also in the form of cash.
Both suspects were remanded in custody to appear before Medway Magistrates' Court today, April 18.
