A convenience store is to temporarily close while it undergoes a makeover.
The Spar in Twydall Green, Gillingham, which also features a Subway counter, is to shut at 4pm on Sunday (February 11).
It is due to reopen at 8am on Sunday, February 18, or 24 hours prior depending on deliveries.
A poster put in the window of the property read: "We are temporarily closing Spar and Subway for store improvements.
"Due to the preparation of getting the store ready for the improvements, some availability may be affected."
Meanwhile, a spokesman for SPAR said: "The improvements are for new, economical fridges for alcohol and chilled foods.
"There will be a general paint-around and the shop floor moved around."
It comes just six days after KentOnline revealed Chi's Chinese in Twydall Green was shutting its doors.
The takeaway had been in business since the 1990s.
A sign put up in its shop window last week explained: "It is with great sadness we can no longer keep the shop open.
"We would like to thank you all for your custom [and] support over the years."
