Tom Dallas has warmed up for his appearance in Medway with a series of sparring sessions against former European heavyweight champion Albert Sosnowski.
Dallas (pictured) returned from an action-packed few days in Poland with his reputation enhanced from the experience.
He is set to top the bill in Friday’s Battle at Medway show which takes place at Medway Park in Gillingham.
Dallas’s manager Mark Roe travelled with his 25-year-old prospect for the meeting with a man who only recently fought Vitali Klitschko for the world title.
"It was great sparring," said Roe. "He finished off last Monday with six rounds of good sparring with Albert and we were very pleased.
"Before we even arrived home their camp had contacted Frank Maloney (Dallas’ promoter) and said how pleased they were with Tom’s performance."
The Chatham heavyweight, with 10 stoppages from his run of 13 straight wins, is pencilled in for Maloney’s next show on May 13 but before that fans in Kent will get to see him in action.
Six Kent fighters are set to star in Gillingham on Friday.
Dallas will face Hungarian Gabor Farkas – a fighter who recently went the distance with Claus Bertino, who is ranked higher than Dallas in the world standings.
"The show is done and dusted, everything is booked and it is all in place," said Roe.
