Two people have been arrested after being cut out of a car when it crashed in Rochester early this morning.
Fire crews were sent to Star Hill, near the junction with Rochester High Street, at just before 1am.
A 29-year-old man and a woman, 40, had to be cut free from the car - believed to have been stolen.
No other cars were involved, but the road was closed by police for several hours.
Two fire engines and other emergency services were sent to the scene.
After the pair were freed, they were taken to hospital for treatment - but later released into police custody.
A Kent Police spokesman said the man and woman - both from Chatham - had been arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking and were still in police custody.
The road remained closed for several hours until around 7am while police dealt with the aftermath of the crash.
