The cash machine outside Rochester station has been cordoned off after it was vandalised in an attempted theft.
The British Transport Police are reviewing CCTV and carrying out enquiries to investigate the matter.
Police received the call at 3.16am this morning.
This come two weeks after cash was stolen from a similar ATM outside Rainham station.
Police were called to the railway station on Boxing Day at 9am, but appealed for information about suspicious activity in the area between 5am and 5:30am.
It was the second time the machine had been broken into, with the ATM ram raided and broken into a first time during May 2015.
Officers are treating the two incidents as linked.
