A large piece of steel slid off the back of a lorry on a roundabout and hit a taxi.
The steelwork came off the trailer of the HGV on the Medway City Estate in Strood.
It happened at the roundabout where the taxi was waiting to exit Sir Thomas Longley Road.
No one was injured.
The taxi driver, who did not want to be named, said the steelwork struck the side of his vehicle.
"It was an insecure load," he added.
A forklift arrived to shift the metal out of the road.
