Police called after stolen digger taken for joyride round Luton Rec, Chatham

The police were called out to Luton Recreation Ground last night after reports that a stolen digger had been driven around the grounds.
The machine is believed to have been stolen from Capstone Road and driven to the park around 10pm.
A police spokesman said: "Police was called to a report that a digger had been stolen from a premises in Capstone Road, and was being driven around a country park, at 10.15pm on Thursday, May 10."
"Officers attended the scene and upon their arrival the suspects dispersed.
"The digger was located in the park and an area search for the offenders took place.
"At present no arrests have been made however enquiries are ongoing."
