University of Kent student reported to have been stabbed in Liberty Quays, Pier Road, Gillingham

A student has been stabbed in a robbery at university accommodation in Gillingham.
The attack happened in block one of Liberty Quays in Pier Road.
The 18-year-old victim, thought to be in the first year of his degree, was taken to hospital.

It is thought items including a Playstation 4 and a mobile phone were stolen.
A police spokesman said: "Kent Police is investigating an alleged robbery at a property in Blake Avenue, Gillingham, just before 6am on Wednesday 27 April.
"It is reported that an 18-year-old man suffered injuries consistent with stab wounds and a number of items were stolen during the incident.
"The man was taken to hospital and has since been released.
"No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing."
An ambulance service spokesman said crews were called at 5.50am yesterday morning following reports of an assault and took one person to hospital.
Students reported seeing police cars and an ambulance outside the building. Police were still at the scene at 8am.
A university spokesman said: "We are aware that a student was involved in an incident, and we are working with the police."
A spokesman for Liberty Living, which runs the accommodation, would not comment.
