The Tiger Moth pub has been forced to shut today following a suspected arson attack.
Police say they were called just after 11.20pm last night to reports of a fire at the pub in Highview Drive, Chatham.
They say no injuries were reported but the fire is being treated as suspicious and inquiries are ongoing.
The Tiger Moth pub posted on Facebook stating "due to an incident that occurred at the pub last night, we are unable to trade today.
"We will be back up and running tomorrow from 11am. If you have a booking with us you will be contacted soon by a member of our team.
"Sorry for any inconvenience caused."
The pub was unable to provide further details, but Greene King has been approached for further information.
Kent Fire and Rescue Service said two fire engines attended and crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
They were on the scene for around an hour and confirmed the fire was being treated as suspicious.
