A suspected serial shoplifter has been charged with trying to steal more than £280 worth of razor blades.
Toni Cooney, of no fixed address, has also been charged with seven counts of theft from a shop in Strood High Street after cosmetics were reported missing.
The shoplifting offences took place at the same business between November 11 and January 6.
The 29-year-old was also charged with the attempted theft after a supermarket in Strood reported a woman was trying to steal razor blades.
Cooney appeared before Medway Magistrates' Court on Monday via a video link where she was remanded in custody.
She is due to appear before the same court on Wednesday, January 18.
