Friends of Kyle Yule get tattoos and set up funeral fund after 'murder' in Gillingham

A close friend of tragic teenager Kyle Yule has set up a fund to help pay for his funeral, which has doubled its target within days.
Aaron Timson started a Justgiving page for the popular 17-year-old who was fatally stabbed near his Gillingham home on Friday, October 6.
The former Brompton Academy pupil died in hospital the following morning.
Aaron along with two other mates, Jason Calloway and Charlie Tyler, have had matching tattoos done in memory of Kyle.
Aaron, also 17, had known Kyle since they started reception class and, despite moving to Rainham, the two remained good friends.
Since Kyle’s untimely death, Aaron has been a frequent visitor at the family home in Hamilton Road where well-wishers have gathered to lend support to his heartbroken mum Nikki.
In the porchway is a mini shrine surrounded by floral tributes and heartfelt messages.
The former MidKent College and Howard School student said: “Kyle was always happy, always having a laugh.
“He never had a bad word to say about anyone. He had a lot of friends.”
Aaron, who lives in Grenadier Close with mum Claire Russell, said: “His mother is devastated, in pieces.
“She needs all the help she can get. But she is managing as well as can be expected."
Ms Yule also has two younger sons and a daughter, who are helping her get through her harrowing ordeal.
The two lads started Burnt Oak Primary School, Richmond Road, Gillingham, together and when they were younger used to enjoy a kick-about on the football pitch.
Aaron's initial target was £1,000, but the total now stands at more than £2,000.
Police are still appealing for witnesses or anyone with information about Kyle’s death to come forward.
Two teenagers have been charged with murder and one with making a threat with a knife the week before Kyle died.
Six others, who were also arrested in connection with the death, have been bailed or released while the investigation continues.
