Boy, 16, dies after being hit by Ford Fiesta in Ingram Road, Gillingham

A 16-year-old boy has died after being hit by a car.

The incident happened at around 9.05pm on Tuesday, December 28 in Ingram Road, Gillingham.

The teenager was taken to a London hospital after the accident involving a red Ford Fiesta.

Police have revealed today that the youngster died of his injuries on Sunday.

Officers have identified witnesses but believe there are others who have not yet spoken to the investigation team.

They are urging them to contact the appeal line.

Anyone with privately-held CCTV or dashcam footage that may assist the investigation should also make contact.
