A teenager has been charged with causing serious injury by dangerous driving after a car crashed into a group of people on Medway City Estate.
Fifteen bystanders were hurt when the Mini Cooper crashed during a gathering of car enthusiasts on the industrial estate in Strood last year.
Harlee Pendergast, 18, of Green Lane in Eltham, London, was arrested at the scene and has now been charged with four counts of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
The accident happened just after 10.15pm on Friday, September 30, 2016.
Officers were already on the estate responding to reports of a disturbance involving nuisance vehicles when the crash happened. More than 20 ambulance staff attended the scene.
Four men, aged between 20 and 50, were taken to a London hospital with serious injuries. Others were taken to Medway Maritime Hospital with injuries ranging in severity.
A further four people were treated at the scene but did not require hospital treatment. Many of those injured were from the Greenhithe area.
Pendergast has been bailed to appear at Medway Magistrates Court on Tuesday, March 14.
