A teenage girl is due to appear in court after she was arrested at a railway station for carrying a knife.
The 17-year-old, who is from Worcestershire, was spotted by officers "acting suspiciously" outside Gillingham station on Saturday evening.
The girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was taken into custody by officers from British Transport Police at 7.10pm.
She has since been charged with possession of a knife and Class B drugs after officers reportedly found she had cannabis on her.
The youngster has been released on bail to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on August 12.
BTP said on Saturday the defendant allegedly had a "large kitchen knife" and drugs on her person in a rucksack.
