Teen charged over Strood moped fire

A teenager has been charged with arson after a moped fire spread to a house.
The bike was parked outside the property, in Darnley Road, Strood, early on Monday when it was set alight.
The fire caught on the front of the house, but was put out by firefighters before it spread into the building.
No one was hurt in the fire, at about 1.30am.
Jamie Hills, 18, of Carnation Road, Strood, has been charged with arson and was due to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
