Teen cyclist in London hospital after crash in Maidstone Road, Chatham

A teenage cyclist is in a serious condition in hospital after being involved in a crash.
Police are appealing for witnesses after a collision involving a car and a cyclist in Maidstone Road, Chatham, yesterday.
The emergency services were called to the junction with Athelstan Road at 12.37pm.
Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended.
A police spokesman said the teenager was treated at the scene for serious injuries, adding: "He was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a serious condition."
