Teenage boy, 14, hit by car in Maidstone Road, Chatham, has suspected broken ankle

A teenage boy suffered a suspected broken ankle when he was hit by a car in Chatham.
Police and paramedics were called to Maidstone Road, near to Horsted Retail Park, just after 5.30pm yesterday.
It is understood, the boy, 14, who has not been named, was later taken to hospital for treatment.
A spokesman for police said: “Kent Police was called at 5.38pm following a collision involving a car and a bicycle on Maidstone Road, Chatham.
“Officers attended and a 14-year-old boy was treated by ambulance staff at the scene for a suspected broken ankle."
