Stolen bike returned to teenager punched in Woodlands Road, Gillingham

A bike has been returned to its owner after the thief suspected of taking it was arrested within 48 hours.
A teenager was allegedly approached by another boy who punched him and took his bike at around 2pm last Wednesday (May 24).
The incident had reportedly occurred a few days earlier while he was riding it in Woodlands Road, Gillingham, on Sunday, May 21.
Following initial enquiries, a 16-year-old boy was arrested the following Thursday and has since been released on bail until Tuesday, August 22.
The bike was then returned to its owner on Friday morning.
