Fire crews tackle garage blaze in Duncan Road, Gillingham

Three fire engines were called to a blaze which engulfed a garage.
Crews arrived at the incident in Duncan Road, Gillingham, just before midnight.
Three fire engines went to the property and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
It is believed the blaze was caused accidentally after a bonfire spread.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “We are reminding people that if you have a bonfire, always make sure they are built to a manageable size,
“And well away from anything that could catch alight, including overhanging branches, buildings, sheds, or any greenery.”
The flames were successfully extinguished by just after 1am.
There were no injuries reported due to the incident.
