Comedian Mark Dolan, Jo Romero and Danny Ward will perform at the Billabong Comedy Club, Rochester, tonight

This month’s show at the Billabong Comedy Club is on Thursday with headline act Mark Dolan supported by Jo Romero and the award-winning Danny Ward.
Mark is a comedian, writer and presenter who made his name in the 2002 hidden camera series, The Richard Taylor Interviews, in which he gave job applicants horrendous interviews.
He has fronted The Last Word debate show on More 4 and appeared on Sky One’s movie review Popcorn, but is probably best known for hosting Channel 4’s Friday night Balls of Steel in 2005 and 2006.
He has also hosted Taxi Gags and The World’s… and Me resulting in the best-selling book The World’s Most Extraordinary People.
He won a Christmas special of Celebrity Come Dine With Me and co-hosted World’s Greatest Stunts with Hollywood star Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Mark performs at an array of corporate events and writes for the Huffington Post. He has recently starred at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe.
Jo is a star of comedy clubs in the UK and overseas and regularly hosts Amnesty International Women’s Day Comedy Shows.
She is an accomplished actor and writer who has had roles in several prestigious comedy theatre plays.
Danny Ward entertains audiences with his unique observational humour.
His easy-going style is endearing and very funny.
He won the Amused Moose’s Peoples’ Award in 2014 and has also just returned from the Edinburgh Fringe.
The Crew, an up-and-coming band from Hadlow will perform an acoustic set during the intervals.
Doors open at 7.30pm with the comedy starting at 8pm.
Ticket prices £9 in advance or with a flyer or £12 on the door. Students with a valid student card can buy tickets for £5.

The Billabong Club has a licensed bar open till late.
