Firefighters issue a warning after a family of three all fell ill after breathing in poisonous fumes at home in King George Road, Chatham

A family were taken to hospital after falling ill from a carbon monoxide leak.
The incident happened at 12.30am this morning, at their home in King George Road, Chatham.
A man, a woman and their nine-year-old son became unwell after the gas leaked from their boiler.
Firefighters from Medway Fire Station dealt with the boiler and the family were treated by paramedics.
They were given oxygen before being taken away by ambulance.
A spokesman said: “One thing we do encourage is that people get their gas boilers regulated.”
