Three children taken to hospital after crash in Darnley Road, Strood

Three children had to be taken to hospital after a crash in a residential street in Strood yesterday evening.
The emergency services were called out to the smash in Darnley Road shortly before 6pm.
Police, firefighters and paramedics were called out to the crash scene after the two cars collided.
The crash involved a BMW and a Peugeot and happened at near to the Tesco Express store.
Firefighters were called out to deal with what was thought to be a fuel spillage which was later identified as a water which had leaked from a broken radiator.
A spokesman for police said: “Kent Police was called at 5.55pm on Friday following a two-car collision in Darnley Road, Strood.
“Officers attended and three children in one of the vehicles were taken to hospital as a precaution.”
