A voluntary group is campaigning to stop a dog, which was thrown out of a van, from being destroyed.
The pup, that has since been named Cleo, was abandoned on a country lane in High Halstow, in June.
Footage was shared online of her callous owner leaving her in the road before speeding off.

She was taken in by Medway Council’s stray dog service and rehomed.
However, it later emerged that Cleo was suspected to be a banned breed and her adopter handed her back.
Medway Council were interested in getting an independent assessment to see whether or not Cleo was a pitbull type of dog.
The campaign group Fight Against Breed-Specific Legislation, has decided to take Cleo through the legal process that could save her life.
One member of the voluntary group, Gill Henderson said: “We are fundraising to try and cover the costs of Cleo’s legal battle.
“The money raised will allow her to be assessed by Dr Kendal Shepherd to see if she is a banned breed or not.”
If Cleo is found to be a breed which is banned under the Dangerous Dogs Act, an owner or a person who has been involved in her upbringing will have to come forward to prevent her from being put down.
Miss Henderson added: “It doesn’t need to end that way, we want to give her every chance of living.
“She is relying on us to set her free.”
The team is aiming to raise £1,300 for Cleo and need £640 to reach their target by Friday, September 22.
