It's a win for the Conservatives in the Strood South by-election, but the turnout was just 16.74%.

Josie Iles, who represented the ward until last year, took back the seat for the Tory party from Ukip with 724 votes.

The by-election was called following the resignation of Ukip's Catriona Brown-Reckless, the wife of former Rochester and Strood MP Mark Reckless, after serving just over a year of her four-year term.
