Tornadoes set to blast into National League

Tornadoes Korfball Club are on the brink of achieving their dream of National League status, according to chairman Richard Woodham.
The Kent League champions narrowly missed out on promotion to the National League after losing a play-off game against London League winners Highbury back in April.
But Woodham insists the club’s excellent foundations, including a blossoming youth development programme, means they are destined for big things.
Tornadoes, Medway’s Club of the Year for 2007, will have another opportunity to qualify for the National League toward the end of next
season.
"Everybody is very confident we will get there – there is nothing stopping us," said Woodham, also a member of the club’s league winning senior side.
"We have a fantastic youth development training programme in place and
lots of talented young players here.
"We were a whisker away from making it last season but next year we will be older and wiser."
