M2 traffic held due to crash at junction 3 for Chatham and Rochester

Traffic was held on the M2 due to a crash involving two cars.
Queues formed on the coastbound carriageway at junction three for Chatham and Rochester shortly before 6pm this evening.
Highways officers were called to attend an incident involving two cars on the exit slip road, traffic monitoring site, Inrix reported.
Traffic was temporarily was temporarily held with long tailbacks stretching back over the Medway bridge towards junction two.
All lanes have since reopened as of 7pm and normal traffic conditions have resumed.
