Travellers have moved from a country park to a play park.
A group of around 15 caravans have taken over most of Gillingham Park in Canterbury Street, Gillingham.
The procession of motorhomes began to move in to the green space last night.
The travellers were last seen occupying the car park at the visitors information centre at Riverside Country Park in Lower Rainham Road, Rainham.
However, they have been in Beechings Playing Field in Beechings Way, Gillingham on and off for the last three months.
This morning a police car and van were spotted in Gillingham Park, on either side of the traveller encampment.
Medway Council is responsible for moving the group off the park.
The council is aware of the situation and has been approached for a comment.
