Travellers pitch up on Beechings Playing Field in Twydall near Gillingham

Travellers have returned to a playing field, just a few weeks after they were previously moved on from the site.
Caravans are pitched up on Beechings Playing Field, in Twydall near Gillingham.
Police were alerted at about 7.30pm yesterday evening and attended the scene.
They are now in liaison with the landowner has they try to move the travellers off as soon as possible.
Mark Breathwick, Head of Housing at Medway Council, said: “We’ll be following a civil legal process to move the group on.”
