Chatham: Trio charged after home attack

Three men have been charged after a man was attacked in his home in Chatham.
A man in his 30s suffered multiple cuts and bruises to his head, body and legs after reportedly being assaulted in the early hours of Wednesday, August 31.
Police arrested three suspects the following Monday and they have subsequently been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Xavier Attuah-Ansu, 19, of Upper Luton Road, Chatham, Rhyan Mayers, 24, of Saltoun Road in Brixton, south-west London, and Mustapha Rahim, 20, of no fixed address, were remanded in custody by Medway magistrates on Wednesday.
They will next appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Wednesday, October 5.
Police have not revealed a street address for the victim because of fears for his safety.
