Three people have appeared in court after being charged with robbery after a couple were allegedly tied up and threatened at a property.
The trio, two men and a woman, appeared before magistrates in Medway earlier today after being charged by officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate.
The were charged after an incident at an address off Maidstone Road, Rochester, during the early hours of Friday, February 16.
Daren Richardson, 51, of Windmill Road, Gillingham, has been charged with one count of conspiring to commit robbery and one of aggravated vehicle taking.
Kevin Williams, 59, of Wratten Road West in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, has also been charged with the same offences.
Tracey Clark, 55, of Church Street, Rochester, was charged with one count of conspiring to commit robbery.
The incident happened as two people were house-sitting for friends at an address in Shaws Way.
At the time, it was alleged two men entered the property and threatened them with a knife.
The victim's van was also allegedly taken during the raid alongside a quantity of jewellery and mobile phones.
Williams and Clark have been bailed to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Wednesday, June 27, and Richardson was remanded in custody to appear at the same court the same day.
