Three men have been charged after a car was stolen from an address in Wainscott.
Officers investigating the theft charged the trio after the vehicle was found in Essex.
The theft was reported to have happened between 9pm on Wednesday, February 15 and 7am the next morning in Burton Close.
Police were called after the car was reported missing from the driveway and other items including mobile phones, a laptop, cash, a jacket and a handbag bag were also missing from inside the house.
At around 3am on Sunday, February 18, the stolen vehicle was seen in Southend-on-Sea.
It failed to stop when requested to do so by officers and it was pursued to Ilford, Essex, before it came to a stop.
Ibrahim Mohammed, 19, and Kelechi Ojiako, 18, both from Ilford and Chyane Ajaz, 18, from, Plaistow, London, have all been charged with dangerous driving and aggravated vehicle taking.
Mohammed has also charged with driving without insurance or a licence while Ojiako, was also charged with offering to supply cocaine.
All three men have appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court by virtual link and have been remanded to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Tuesday, March 20.
