Police and fire service called to crash in Commercial Road, Strood after two cars in collision

A two-car crash forced a main road through a town centre to be closed.
Police were called at 2.07pm to reports of the collision in Commercial Road, Strood.
The road was blocked for more than an hour while the vehicles were recovered.
It was reopened at about 3.25pm, a police spokesman said.
No serious injuries were reported and paramedics were informed of the incident but did not attend the scene.
Firefighters in one fire engine were also called to assist and were tasked with making the scene safe.
