A man and a woman have been charged in connection with a series of alleged burglaries in Kent whilst police hunt for a second man.
The trio were arrested following a search of properties in London in June by detectives investigating a number of reported burglaries in Hoo, Allhallows, High Halstow and Istead Rise, as well as one in Maidstone.
William Burton, 23, of Avenue Road, Erith and Jerry-Lee Shoebridge, 20, of Lanridge Road, Abbey Wood, London, have been charged with conspiracy to commit burglary between May 18 and June 11.
A second man, Wayne Cousins, 32, from Bexleyheath is wanted in connection with the offences. He has been listed on Kent Police's most wanted list.
Burton was remanded in custody and Shoebridge granted bail. Both will appear at Maidstone Crown Court on September 18.
The arrests were made in connection with investigations being led by Kent Police’s Criminal Investigation Department. The team is made up of specialist officers who target burglary and theft offences across Medway, Gravesham, Dartford and Swale.
