A fire crew from Strood was called out to the same village street twice in just over two hours.
Firefighters tackled a caravan alight in woods off Cobhambury Road, Cobham, at about 6.50pm yesterday (Sunday). The unoccupied mobile home was destroyed.
The same crew were then called out just before 9pm to a pick-up truck on fire in the middle of the road.
Police believe the vehicle was stolen and are investigating.
Firefighters were also called out to a fire in a Chatham house yesterday.
An oven fire caused smoke damage to the kitchen. It is believed it was sparked by a newspaper alight under the cooker .
The crew went to the house in Edinburgh Road at about 4.30pm.
