A woman from Gillingham and a man from Erith were taken to hospital after a crash on the A289 near Strood

Two people have been taken to hospital after sustaining serious injuries in a car crash.
Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage of the incident which happened at 11.53pm last night.
A black Renault Megane is thought to have crashed through the barrier on the slip road between the A289 and Junction 1 of the M2 London bound, just outside of Strood.
A woman in her 30s, from the Gillingham area, sustained a head injury and was taken to a London hospital for treatment.
Then a man in his 20s, from the Erith area, sustained hip injuries and was also taken to a London Hospital.
Police spokesman James Walker said: "The Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are assessing the circumstances and would like to hear from anyone with information on the incident.
"They are particularly keen for anyone with dash cam footage of the collision, or the vehicle travelling in the moments leading up to the collision, to get in contact."
