Car 'hits lampost' and injures two people in crash on Courteney Road, Gillingham
14:00, 03 June 2014
Two people suffered neck pain during a crash on a road in Gillingham this afternoon.
The emergency services were called out to Courteney Road, near the Delphi site at about 1.20pm after the car ended up on its roof.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash and, by the time the emergency services arrived, the two people in the car had managed to get themselves out.
The vehicle is believed to have hit a lamppost during the smash, which knocked the car into nearby trees.
A police spokesman said the road was blocked and would be until the vehicle could be recovered.
It comes just hours after a woman was freed after a car overturned on a Chatham road.
