Police at Strood Railway Station after two people were assaulted

A mass brawl outside a train station lead to two people being injured.

Approximately 10 people were involved in a fight in the car park at Strood Station at 11pm on Saturday night.

Two people had to be treated by paramedics after the incident in Canal Road..

The incident happened at around 11pm in the car park at Strood Railway Station

Both victims were hit in the face.

The issue is being dealt with by British Transport Police but officers from the Kent force also attended.

Police spokesman Nicola Foreman said: "Police attended at 11.11pm following a report of an assault.

"Two people received injuries and were treated at the scene by an ambulance crew."

BTP has been contacted for further details.
