Two people taken to hospital following fire in Rochester Avenue, Rochester

Two people were rushed to hospital following a house blaze.
Emergency services were called to Rochester Avenue in Rochester just before 5pm yesterday.
A police spokesman said their officers were at the scene alongside paramedics and fire crews.
They assisted and closed the street, which joins Delce Road with Maidstone Road, while the incident was dealt with.
Firefighters were was called to reports of a house blaze at around 16:50. Two engines attended but the fire was out on arrival.
Crews stayed on the site for just under an hour.
A witness said they were focused on one terrace house.
Further details of the two injured people have not yet been released.
