Children stuck with tradition and threw their caps in the air when they graduated from pre-school.
Little ones at Castle View Nursery, Rochester, who are off to 'big school' in September were invited to join a special ceremony to say goodbye.
The youngsters donned traditional cap and gowns for the occasion and were invited on stage to collect a book filled with photos of their time there and messages of good luck from all the staff.
Afterwards they all lined up for photos and then it was time to throw their mortarboards in their air, just like university graduates.
Nursery owner Alison Laker said: "We have been open 25 years and the graduation ceremony is a tradition we do each year.
"It is quite an emotional day for the staff as the majority of the children have been with us since they were babies, so they have spent virtually all of their little lives with us."
The tots left their mark at the nursery in Castle View Road by helping to create a piece of art work with their handprints.
Nursery practitioners Amy Harris and Amy Pocock were also celebrating on the day after both gained a degree in Childhood Studies.
