Witnesses sought after armed raid on Gillingham bookies

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after an armed robbery at a bookies in Gillingham.
A man threatened staff with a gun during a raid at William Hill, in Barnsole Road, on Thursday night.
He stole a bundle of cash at about 6.15pm and escaped on foot in the direction of the Livingstone Arms pub.
No one was hurt during the robbery. It is not yet known how much money was taken or if the man was armed with a real gun or an imitation.
Det Insp Geoff Payne said: "The incident was over very quickly and fortunately no-one was injured.
"We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen this man around the Barnsole Road or Livingston Road area. I would urge anyone with information to contact police as soon as possible."
