Woman arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after her car smashes into house in Berengrave Lane, Rainham

A woman was arrested on suspicion of drink-driving last night after the car she was driving left the road and ploughed into the front of a house.
The 24-year-old, who has not been named, was arrested after her Ford Fiesta crashed into the front of a house in Berengrave Lane, Rainham.
Police and firefighters from the Towns were called out to the scene at about 8.45pm.
The impact caused structural damage to the property, but no one was injured.
The woman, who is from the Sidcup area, was later bailed pending further inquiries.
A spokesman for Kent Police, said: "Police were called at 8.45pm to a report of a single vehicle collision in Berengrave Lane, Rainham.
"It was reported that a house had received structural damage as a result of the collision.
"A 24 year-old woman from Sidcup was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and has since been bailed until 5 January 2017 pending further investigation."
