A woman has been arrested after a collision between a car and a child near a secondary school.
The young pedestrian was taken to hospital with a foot injury following the incident on Tuesday afternoon.
It happened near the Brompton Academy in Marlborough Road, Gillingham at about 3.20pm.
A woman in her 60s, from Rochester, was arrested and taken into custody the following day.
